If there is any doubt about your processing, iZotope makes it easy to check and double-check, move onto Tonal Balance Control for a line of defense against a bad master. That is one of many reasons we like iZotope so much, it always feels like we are improving our craft as we use their plugins. That being said, these will help you get your skills up faster than a lot of plugins out there. Utilize this module to make your mixes look like the professionals’ mixes.Īt the end of the day, these tools are only as useful as the user is practiced. This means that you can have an accurate target EQ curve to work toward when mastering. With it, you can capture the whole frequency spectrum (or a smaller range) of a reference track. Some may see this as a drawback, but we see it as iZotope’s excellence at simplifying a process.
I own iZotope plugins myself and have no complaints with them. No matter whether you go with Advanced or Standard the product sells itself. They have cut down startup time, usage, and improved almost every aspect from the Master Assistant to the compressors and eq’s. With a highly focused scope of 20 Hz – 300 Hz, the module dials into the nitty-gritty puzzle that is low end.Īs you can see in the image above, there are very few parameters to mess with. Ozone 9 is a new step for iZotope into the world of conserving CPU usage.
The genius here is how easy it is to use, and how well it works. Low-end focus was designed to address issues beyond regular Dynamics and EQ processing.
